OPEN/PUBLIC TELECONFERENCES
Many people both outside and inside Biame Network want the opportunity to talk with Ken and Elizabeth Mellor. With the aid of teleconferencing technology, this has become possible. Each year Ken and Elizabeth make themselves available at specific times on several selected dates throughout the year. Anyone is welcome to attend these teleconferences. BOOK IN ADVANCE
Sometimes large numbers of people want to attend the Open/Public teleconferences, so it is necessary to book in advance. You can do this by contacting the Network and letting us know which date and time you want to attend. You will also need to make arrangements for how you will pay for the sessions you attend at that point. You can email us from here: Biame Network Administration
JOINING A TELECONFERENCE
To join one of the teleconferences:

You need to telephone one of the numbers below:
i. 03 9011 8100 (within Australia)
ii. (International dialling code) then 61 3 9011 8100 (outside Australia)You then wait until a voice invites you to enter your pass code followed by the hash key, then you enter: 498175# -
You will then automatically gain entry into the conference hall

If you have any difficulties getting into the conference hall, telephone one of the following numbers and you will be connected by the help desk operator:
i. (if inside Australia) dial 03 9011 8100 and wait for an operator
ii. (if outside Australia) dial International Dialling Code for you country, then dial
61 3 9011 8100 and wait for an operator
DDATES, TIMES AND REGIONS
Those attending the teleconferences come from a variety of time zones in the world, so the sessions are designed to account for this as much as possible. The idea is for you to select those that suit you as much as possible.
SESSION CHARGES AND PAYMENT
The current charges for each session are A$75.00, part of which is used to pay for the conference hall, with the balance used to support the Network's other activities. You need to make arrangements about payment for each session in advance. You can do this by:

faxing or emailing your credit card details and other necessary information to us.
SESSION CONTENT
These open sessions offer an opportunity for people to talk about many different subjects. From time to time, Ken or Elizabeth may also speak on a particular subject, take participants through meditations, discuss personal issues to do with spiritual practice and how to deal with various aspects of that. They also give people a chance to spend time with Masters of Meditation and other practices. PREPARING FOR EACH SESSION
We recommend that you give some thought to your goals for each session. These goals are the outcomes that you wish to have realised by the end of each session. Your goals work as the starting point for each session and will almost certainly determine the outcome for you on that day: where you start is where you finish, unless you change your goal. We recommend that you develop goals that are meaningful to you and involve something to which you have a commitment. Goals such as "I'm just here to be here", "I don't have anything in particular to do today" and "I'm just going with the flow today" are generally a sign of lack of preparation and commitment, or a very casual approach to the possibilities available in these sessions. It is worth making the opportunity to speak with Ken and Elizabeth really count.
