MIDYEAR RENEWAL

!
18th - 21st July  2008 (Seymour - Victoria)

Leader: Ken Mellor

Dates:  19th to 22nd July, 2008

Times:  9.30 am to 6.00 pm

This is a four-day workshop. The first 2 days of the workshop will emphasise two key themes: Personal Renewal and Relationships.

This will be done through a variety of ways including wonderful teachings from Ken, meditation, yoga, walking amongst kangaroos, sitting around an open fire with interesting people, and being served fabulously fresh and lovingly prepared vegetarian meals.

The focus of the teachings will be on how you can improve your relationships with your partner, parents, children, siblings, manager, work colleagues, friends and most importantly yourself. In fact, it will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to re-connect or deepen their connections with themselves and others.

The second 2 days will be used to deepen the connections you have established internally. You will have the opportunity to practise how to connect to and align with your deeper self, how to intensify the benefits that arise as you do this and how live your day-to-day life so you continue to reap the rewards of these simple practices.

Specials:
You can attend for two, three or for all four days. (See below for fee details.) You can decide if you want to stay longer at the workshop.

If this is your first Biame Network Workshop, you will be “buddied” with someone who has attended workshops before. Opportunities will be available for you to receive a complimentary personal massage or reiki healing session from an experienced practitioner.

A highlight of the Workshop will be on the Friday night where will have a Full Moon celebration which will include Silent Darshan with Ken.

Also, on the Saturday afternoon, we will visit the spiritual home of Biame Network; it is less than 10 minutes from Commonground and is Ken's and Elizabeth's home. Visiting there give you an opportunity to meditate in their highly charged meditation room and enjoy having afternoon tea (of chai and cake) followed by a question and answer session.

Come and Take a Break:
So if you want Renewal - we look forward to seeing you there!

The middle of the year offers an ideal opportunity for this. All of us need regular stopping time in order to connect with our-selves. Unless we take the time, we become deprived. For the self is the source of our life energy, our abundance, and our understanding of the significance of the events in our lives. It is also very much more.

Ken is a Master of Meditation, has years of experience with helping people with their relationships, and is has a wealth of information that makes a real difference. He is practical, down-to-earth and fun.

INTO THE SILENCE, STILLNESS & TRANSPARENCY

!

25th- 31st August 2007 (Seymour - Victoria)

Leader:  Ken Mellor

Dates:  25th to 31st August, 2008
Times:  9.30 am to 6.00 pm  (Silent Darshan every evening)

In the presence of Life Itself we experience utter silence, stillness and transparency. There we can discover our Selves as we never have before. The hunger or thirst to do this is powerful in everyone. Somewhere within we all know that our completion lies here. We know that we need to "go in" as "deeply" as possible, that we need to connect with the Source of Life within.

This workshop provides that time to explore as fully as possible through the seven days of the workshop.

USING FEELINGS AS FUEL FOR LIFE

!

3rd August 2008
Fawkner Park Community Centre

Leader:  Ken Mellor

Date:  3rd August, 2008

Times:  9.30 am to 5.00 pm

When we feel strongly, we know just how powerful feelings can be.  Intense happiness, love, confidence, sadness, anger or fear are all good examples.  Also, think of situations at home, at work or elsewhere, in which your feelings seemed to interfere with what you or others were doing.  When we have any of the first three feelings we usually see them as desirable and celebrate them – we want as much as we can get of them; by contrast, the last three are usually not seen as desirable – we want as little of them as possible.

Many people don’t know, however, that all feelings contribute to our vitality and aliveness.  There is a lot in feelings that could be very helpful to us all and we will explore this in the workshop.

SUMMER SANCTUARY - Reflect, Refresh, Revitalise

!

19th- 24th January 2008  (Seymour - Victoria)

 Leader: Ken Mellor

Dates: 19th - 24th January, 2008

Times: 9.30 am to 6.00 pm each day

Come to the 2008 Summer Sanctuary. Take a break from the pressures of life and enjoy the opportunity to refresh, reflect and revitalise yourself in the company of others who share the same interests and needs.

The beginning of the New Year is a perfect opportunity as we naturally look towards the year ahead. Everyone can benefit enormously from regularly taking stock of themselves and their lives, from opening up to the realities they face there, from celebrating their successes and from making plans to deal with current challenges. Reviewing our existing goals and deciding what to do then are natural next steps.

REFRESH
Come and enjoy good company, good food, good exercise and an enlivening environment. Luxuriate in having time to rest, meditate and reconnect with yourself. The six days of the workshop offer wonderful opportunities for all of this.

REFLECT
We are faced on a daily basis with information about many serious situations in the world.  We need to reflect on this and on what we can do and work out how to live in today's world so we promote life in everything we do.

REVITALISE
In general terms, what to do is obvious. We need to revitalise ourselves and the planet, to foster aliveness and abundance with such intensity and power that vast changes occur in our own lives and in the world around us. We will explore techniques, both old and new, for doing this.

This workshop can take you far beyond anything you may yet have imagined as possible in your life. These are very exciting possibilities.

RHYTHMS: Riding the Ebb and Flow of Life

!

2nd March 2008
Fawkner Park Community Centre

Leader: Ken Mellor

Date: 2nd March, 2008

Times: 9.30 am - 5.00 pm

When we have plenty of energy and feel like being active and involved in things, life seems easy and enjoyable. However, we commonly have other experiences too. There are times when, if we did what we feel like doing, we would do very little at all. This can be a big challenge when living the busy and demanding lives so many of us do these days. Another challenge comes during those times when we seem to lose direction, doubt that what we are doing is worthwhile, or feel strangely disconnected. We can begin to think something is very wrong if this sort of thing lasts for long, as sometimes it does. While surprising to many, these shifts are completely normal and we can learn to manage them well.

Come to the workshop where you can find out what is going on how to handle all of this.

DECISION-MAKING: Living Our Lives More Easily

!

4th May 2008  Fawkner Park Community Centre

Leader: Ken Mellor

Date:  4th May, 2008

Times:  9.30 am to 5.00 pm

Some decisions are easy to make:  The options are clear, the outcomes to what we could do are obvious, and we can go ahead and make them with confidence.  Others are not so easy: Many options are involved, each one is filled with complexity and the consequences of each are very significant, maybe even life-changing.  These decisions are much harder to make.  Of course, all decision-making is somewhat easier when we are clear on our priorities, because they can guide our choices.

During the workshop, we will explore three areas: deciding on our priorities, making decisions and evolving decisions.Life gets easier, often much easier, when we know how to approach these areas.
